An Amazing Custom Suit: What I Wore Series
On the next installment of our What I Wore Series, we chatted with Matt from the Beachwood store about what he was wearing.
An amazing custom suit is always a win, so make sure you invest in one.
So Matt, what are you wearing today?
Matt: It's a custom suit from Ticknors. It's a classic navy chalk-strap with a modern-classic (wide) peak lapel and working buttonholes with contrast stitch. It's one of my favorite suits that I own and I always feel great in it. It's also a great suit because I love the slim pant that lays right above the shoe. It's such a clean and classic look.
So when do you wear a suit like this?
Matt: I really wear this any time I want a really clean, really classic look and want to feel confident. It's my best fitting garment so it automatically makes me feel like a million dollars. I wear it anytime I want to feel awesome.
How do you usually accessorize this suit?
Matt: Usually will wear it with a crisp white shirt (I really love the Alfa Perry shirts). Since I opt for a white shirt I have some fun with my tie. This tie has a slightly iridescent look and the red gives the look a nice pop of color. It's easy to personalize a look like this with a great tie.
What else can you do to personalize a great suit like this?
Matt: I love adding in a great shoe and really playing with the socks you choose. Socks are a great way to really have fun. Today I picked some great Johnston and Murphy wing-tip shoes and a fun patterned Robert Graham Sock to compliment my power suit.
